Privacy Policy

This policy explains what the public Research Integrity QC AI pilot-interest website collects, how submissions are used, and what not to submit.

Scope

This website is an early public information and pilot-interest site. It is not a manuscript upload portal, research-data repository, clinical-data system, student-information system, or misconduct-reporting system.

Information We Collect

If you submit the pilot-interest form, we collect the information you provide: name, email address, institution or organization, role, country or region, interest category, message, optional lab profile or ORCID, optional manuscript stage, preferred contact method, and confirmation of the public-form safety statement.

The form includes a hidden anti-spam field. The site may also use basic technical request information needed to host the site, operate the lead-capture endpoint, reduce spam, and troubleshoot errors.

Vercel Web Analytics is used for basic page-view analytics. If anti-spam verification is enabled in the future, Cloudflare Turnstile or a similar provider may process the verification token.

Do Not Submit Sensitive Materials

Do not submit confidential manuscripts, unpublished source datasets, identifiable patient or participant information, student information, personnel information, reviewer materials, passwords, API keys, or other sensitive information through this website.

How We Use Information

  • To review whether a pilot request fits the current pilot stage.
  • To respond to appropriate pilot-interest inquiries.
  • To classify submissions as academic leads, unverified leads, vendor inquiries, or likely spam.
  • To send an internal lead notification and, when appropriate, an automatic acknowledgement email.
  • To improve the public website and early pilot workflow.

Service Providers

The website is hosted on Vercel. Email notifications and automatic acknowledgements may be sent through Resend. Pilot-interest records may be stored in Airtable when the Airtable integration is enabled. These providers process information only as needed to operate the public site and pilot-interest workflow.

Retention

Pilot-interest information is retained only as long as needed to respond to inquiries, evaluate pilot fit, maintain basic records of early product conversations, improve the service, or comply with applicable obligations. You may request deletion of your pilot-interest information.

Sharing

Pilot-interest information is not sold. It may be processed by service providers used to host the website, run analytics, send email, store lead records, protect against spam, or support the early pilot workflow.

Security

The public site is designed to collect only low-sensitivity contact and pilot-screening information. Future upload or review workflows should be separate, authenticated, access-controlled, and reviewed before confidential materials are accepted.

Your Choices

You can choose not to submit the form. If you have already submitted the form and want your information corrected or deleted, contact Xi-Long Zheng using the email link below.
